During a walk in Dresden we decently hungry and decided to go to one of the fast food restaurants. After a brief search, which resulted in the end, we did not reach, we decide to revert to the inhabitants of the capital of Saxony. Resemble to the young couple and Ira asks in German, where you can find nearby subwoofer. Our helpers were a little surprised and confused, I did not understand what was happening. Since the "Subway" in English means "underground", they thought that we are trying to find a subway station in Dresden. Naturally, such a mode of transport in a small town does not (it inhabits about 500,000 inhabitants). Realizing that it was not just asked a question, add the word "food" and all at once falls into place. With a wave of his hand, the young man points us to a large building on the first floor of which must be "Subway".
To be sure, in the diner, we also had to work hard to saddle the order. The workers did not know the reason, very English - Ira had to use all my knowledge of German, and I very strongly gesturing, showing how the stuffing want in a sandwich. Apparently, not every day they go eat Russian tourists from the Volga.
Along the way we met with an amazing restaurant for Dresden called "St. Petersburg ". It turns out the city has and the street bearing the name of the city on the Neva. In the park, which we had to cross, runs unique fountain: the water spurting from virtually paving slabs. The jets that are rising and falling, reaching a height of about one meter. Eager to freshen up nearby, signs prohibiting drinking water from the fountain.
With new forces continue to walk in Dresden - make a circle and come out on the embankment of the river Elbe, but from the other side. Here the water surface very close to the sidewalk, the ground carpeted with green grass and residents do not neglect the rest unpretentious - here and there you can see people lying on the grass. Tan naturally no one tries - the air temperature rose no higher than 20 degrees.
There is still time - the train to Cottbus goes to 19 hours - and we decide to look into the "beer garden". It is a vast area in the open, filled with small cafes, as well as benches and table, behind which are placed visitors. I decide to try a dark beer mug and buy drinks for 3.5 €. Get change, finds in it a plastic badge and was surprised to look at the bartender. Having understood the issue in my view, he immediately points to gesture at the sign - in four languages, one of which was a Russian inscription: "2 Euro - deposit for the dishes. Replace the glass and chip and get your money back. " That's how they are protected from those who wish to leave a souvenir German dishes.
A long way home, and we are before going back to the station, look in KFC. Obviously some visitors and employees of establishments somnolent move like flies. At 9 € buy food in the road and moved into the station building. There is in recovery, even more than in the morning. Fans after the match vividly discussing what he saw, as they are now and we have a way back. Clothes police, apparently, even increased, but there were no incidents, we have not noticed.
After taking the habit 4 seats in the train, freely dispose their belongings. However, this time alone, we would not have to go: middle-aged woman asked us to free up space for it. She immediately pulls out a magazine and enthusiastically immersed in reading it. At one of the stops the train comes a young girl with a huge tourist backpack - we have to go hiking so healthy men. We regret to see that there is no space available, it goes to the platform and is located directly on the floor, apparently she did not notice the chair, littered our things or shy to ask us to release him. I went up to her and offer to move into the car, she happily sits by the window, and thanks for the help: sadly traveling, sitting on the floor in the vestibule.
Meanwhile, the train arrives in Cottbus, and one changes the train to Berlin. Again, two-story comfortable cars take us to the capital of Germany. In the city we come late at night: in 23 hours almost deserted train station, only a few passengers night express fighting sleep on benches waiting for their trains. We were also tired and hasten the usual route to get to the hotel. Metro runs less frequently, both during the day and it took us 40 minutes to get to the area of Tegel.
