While still in Russia, in addition to Berlin, we decided to visit a town near the capital of Germany. The choice was between Dresden, Leipzig and Magdeburg. After a bit of reflection unanimously decided to visit the capital of Saxony - Dresden. Us he drew ancient architecture and plenty of locks.

 

Dresden is located south of Berlin for 170 kilometers. Carfare is 9 € per person one way. However, we found a more interesting option - the movement of the train. Early in the morning we were at the main train station in Berlin waiting for the train, which arrived right on schedule. Tourists from Asia, took us for local residents, in broken German, asked here whether the train to Leptsig. As I said, we had to change trains in Cottbus (Cottbus), which is literally on the border with Poland (about 20 kilometers). Signs at the railway station here are duplicated in a second language, most likely Polish.
